GSIS 8 meets Biliran IOs

NAVAL, Biliran – The Public Relations and Communication Office of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) in region 8 headed by Regional Manager Ma. Vilma Fuentes is scheduled to meet with the information officers of the different national government agencies based in Naval and the eight local government units, and members of the local media of the province of Biliran on Thursday, March 24, 2011.

The media forum is scheduled into two where the information officers from the national and local government is set at 10:30 in the morning until 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Governor’s Hall of the Provincial Capitol Building.

While members of the local media are to attend the press conference at 5:00 o’clock until 7:00 o’clock in the evening at also in the same venue.

Around 50 information officers from the national and local government and members of the local media are expected to attend the media forum with GSIS 8.

Manager Fuentes hopes to strengthen linkage and communication network between GSIS 8 and the communication agents of Biliran in their effort to disseminate GSIS programs and information to their members and pensionaires.

GSIS will also process UMID applications of information officers who have not availed yet of the said service. # (PIA Biliran)
