Biliran PPO has new chief

NAVAL, Biliran — The Biliran Police Provincial Office (BPPO) has a new Provincial Director in the person of PSSupt Roel B. Acidre.

PSSupt. Roel B. Acidre, new OIC provincial director, Biliran Provincial Police Office (BPPO) states in his message in the turn-over of command ceremony that he will continue the good programs of his predecessor and will establish good working relations with the local government officials as well as the people in the community to achieve his goals in the BPPO, BPPO Ground, Larrazabal,Naval, Biliran, February 21 (rvictoria/PIA 8 Biliran)
PSSupt. Acidre, who hails from Tacloban City, replaced PSSupt. Alfredo Japson Sabornido, outgoing BPPO Provincial Director who retired from the service effective Feb. 21, after serving the Philippine National Police (PNP) for 31 years and 20 days.
The turn-over of command ceremony and retirement honors for PSSupt. Sabornido on Feb. 21 was held at the BPPO grounds in Brgy. Larrazabal in the municipality of Naval.
The joint event was capped with a pass-in-review with PSSupt. Sabornido, the honoree as the reviewing officer together with top officials from the PNP 8 office. (FJ-PIA 8 Biliran)

Just hope the Police Director can keep his troops in line and follow the law themselves…Kinda like the illegal logging that takes place that is funded by so called Police…..hmmmmm!!!!

what about the house robbery in Brgy Bato, Biliran about 2 weeks ago pertaining to the wife of one foreigner wherein the passport, money and other personal belongings nakuha, na dakpan naba???
