The conduct of the 2010 Census of Population and Housing was made official with the signing by President Benigno S. Aquino III of Proclamation No. 362 on March 30, 2012.

According to NSO-Biliran head Rose Marie V. Lumbre, the 2010 population in the province of Biliran is higher by 21,486 compared to the 2000 population of 140,274. In 1990, the total population of the province of Biliran is 118,012.

COMELEC OFFICIAL RESULTS: Biliran May 2013 Local Elections

COMELEC OFFICIAL RESULTS: Biliran May 2013 Local Elections

This is one political filipino trait when it comes to election that MUST change! Nobody concedes defeat, ug pilde gilingbugan. Labi na ni si Glenn, anogon jud kay I thought when he first won na he would be an example of how a winner should portent to be, instead nagsigue lang ug pang yawyaw nga walay hinundan against the Espina’s! So the people wised up and threw him under the bus! Let this be a lesson to upcoming politicians na ug magdaug mo do the job that the people elected you to do, and stop going after the person that you defeated!
