NSO-Biliran, TESDA-CNSAT announce job openings

NAVAL, Biliran – Two offices in the province of Biliran announced job openings to the public that will give jobseekers in the province of Biliran and from other places an opportunity to find one.

These two offices are the National Statistics Office (NSO) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Cabucgayan National Schools of Arts and Trades (CNSAT).

NSO-Biliran informed the public in a press release through Rose Marie V. Lumbre, Provincial Statistics Officer, of the following vacant positions available in their office with the corresponding qualifications, namely: Assistant Statistician-must be a college graduate of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or other related courses, preferable with experience and training in census/survey undertaking, physically fit and able and with good moral character; Provincial office Clerk- preferably college graduate, if not, completed at least 2nd year college, computer literate, physically fit and able and with good moral character; Utility Worker-at least high school graduate, physically fit and able and with good moral character; Assistant Registration Area Supervisor-preferably college graduate, computer literate, physically fit and able and with good moral character; and Field Interviewer-preferably college graduate, if not, completed at least 2nd year college, computer literate, physically fit and able and with good moral character.

The hiring of these personnel of NSO-Biliran is in line with the conduct of the Registry System Sectors for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA), one of the key programs of the Good Governance and Anti-Corruption Sub-cluster on digitization of the national government in September 2012.

Lumbre further informed that applicants must be willing to do overtime work if necessary and advised applicants to submit their application letter at the NSO Provincial Office located at 2nd Floor Yulefem’s Building, Vicentillo cor Sabenorio Sts, Naval Biliran or call 500-9723 for further details about the vacant positions.

Meanwhile, TESDA-CANSAT also informed the public in a letter addressed to PIA through Lino R. Severino, Vocational Administrator III, of the vacant Instructor I position available in the school for the month of June 2012.

The qualification standards for the Instructor I position with a corresponding salary grade 12 are the following, namely: Bachelor’s degree in area of specialization with additional office QS BSE/IE major in: automotive tech.(NCII and TM I (optional)holder and experience and training not required and should be a PBET/Teacher/RA 1080 eligible.
